GENERAL POLICIES
RESERVATIONS
Reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card. We accept VISA, MasterCard and American Express. Cash and Traveler’s Checks are also accepted forms of payment. First night stay will be billed as a deposit with the balance due upon arrival. We are unable to hold a reservation without a deposit. Room rates do not include tax. Some holiday weekends and special events may require longer stays.
MINIMUM STAY
A two-night minimum stay is generally required. A one-night reservation MAY be possible depending on our availability. One-night reservations require full payment in advance and are nonrefundable. Please call our Inn Keeper 304-707-2517 to inquire.
CANCELLATIONS
Notification of cancellation is required seven (7) days prior to your scheduled day of arrival. Cancellation of your entire reservation or any part of your reservation after that date will result in a charge to your credit card for all the nights you cancel. If we are able to re-book your room, we will issue a refund on your credit card for the nights we are able to re-book. All cancellations will incur a $50 non-refundable booking fee.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
There are many reasons a traveler might need to cancel a reservation at the last minute, including illness, family emergencies, flight changes and extreme weather. As you are responsible for the full amount of your reservation once your cancellation date has passed, we strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance to cover the financial risk associated with a late cancellation.
BREAKFAST
Your room rate includes a delicious homemade 3 course breakfast which features a hot entrée each day. An assortment of teas, coffee and juices are included. Breakfast is served from 7:30 – 9.30 AM Monday through Friday and 8 – 10 AM Saturday, Sunday and holidays.
STAFF HOURS
Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff available to help you from 8 AM – 6:00 PM daily.
CHECK IN/CHECK OUT
Early Arrival – Not a problem! You are welcome to arrive at the Manor any time between the hours of 8 AM and 7 PM. Your room is guaranteed to be ready for occupancy by 3 PM. If you are arriving earlier than 3 PM and your room is not ready, you are welcome to leave your luggage with us, get maps and directions to the local sites, and get started on your holiday or business trip. If your room is ready early, you are welcome to settle in and make yourself at home. If you will be arriving before 9:30 AM, please plan to join us for breakfast – our treat!
Late Arrival – Not a problem! If your travel arrangements do not allow you to check in before 6:00 PM when our Front Desk closes for the evening, please call or email us to receive our very simple Late Check-In instructions.
Check-Out – We ask you to vacate your room by 11 AM so that our housekeeping staff has plenty of time to get the room ready for the next guests. We’re not in a hurry to see you go, however! You are welcome to use the house all day. Relax in our comfortable common areas: have coffee or tea, read the paper, work on your computer, or join us for evening wine before a late-night flight.
OCCUPANCY
Occupancy of the Guest Rooms is limited to registered guests.
CHILDREN
While we love children of all ages, we are unable to accommodate children due to the atmosphere we are trying to maintain for our guests.
PETS
While we love pets, we are not able to accommodate them due to allergies.
SMOKING
The Stone Manor, the Barn and immediate surrounding areas are all smoke-free. Smoking anywhere in the house or barn or within 20’ of these structures is strictly prohibited. Smoking in these areas will result in a penalty equal to two (2) night’s room rental and will ensure your early departure without refund.
TV’S OR RADIOS!
Rooms are designed with sound deadening panels however, to ensure peaceful enjoyment of the house for all guests, we ask that you keep any TV’s, Radios and other such items or noise in general to a respectful level contained within your room. You are welcome to use your personal electronic devices to watch a movie or catch up on the news. Just connect to our free, high-speed wireless internet.
PARKING
Our Guest Parking Pad is available for your convenience. During the winter season, the guest parking pad, steps and walk will be heated. Please feel free to park alongside the garage or rear of the Manor to unload and check in prior to parking. We are pleased to provide EV charging stations at our luxury bed & breakfast guest parking pad area.
EVENT PARKING AT THE BARN
No need to worry about parking here.
We’ve set aside a secluded parking area roughly 100 yards away from the Barn Venue to accommodate up to 300 of your guests. To preserve the peaceful beauty of our place, we made certain the parking area was tucked away, out of sight, from festivities and photographs.
We’ll also provide shuttle service for your guests, picking them up in our electric shuttle bus.
So, enjoy the scenery, breathe in the ambience, and take beautiful photos in every direction, to your heart’s content.
